Little Rascals have decided to reveal that they are health screening ALL breeding parents and adult dogs.
This means that all customers, including anyone who has bought a puppy from Little Rascals in the past few months, will have access to paperwork or records showing absolute proof that health screening has been carried out by a fully qualified named vet. So please do contact Little Rascals and ask them.
Meanwhile, back in the real world, it’s highly unlikely any legitimate health tests have been/will be undertaken by Little Rascals owing to the expense involved, eating into their profits.
In fact Swindells and Dickens are so greedy for profit, it seems they even economise on the worming of puppies. As one recent buyer told us—
“She (Bridgett Dickens) said “I’ve just wormed her so if she has blood in her poo over the next few days it’s normal”.
I asked if she meant ‘bits of blood’ and she said “No, I mean bloody poo”. My vet said they were probably aware of something on their farm and just trying to cover their tracks.
My puppy had not been flea’d or wormed as she had fully grown adult worms in her tummy and she was only 8 weeks old. She also had Kennel Cough.
They (Little Rascals) told me that puppy had been health checked, but my vet said she hadn’t otherwise she would have been treated for worms.”
Unless of course their vet is incompetent or complacent, or both.
This buyer was told by Andrew Peden (a Little Rascals’ employee) that her puppy had been health checked. Exactly when that health check is supposed to have occurred is unknown, but it doesn’t sound very likely that a vet went anywhere near this puppy other than to administer vaccinations. If a vet did ‘health check’ this puppy, their professional conduct should be brought into question.
It’s probably safe to say that Little Rascals’ health ‘screening’ is not a reality and, judging by the amount of puppies coming out of their farm infected with ailments including Kennel Cough and even Parvovirus, they can’t be too confident that their ‘attending vet‘ will even know how to carry out such health tests.
So obviously we can toss this latest Little Rascals‘ revelation in the same Bucket with all their other giant fabrications, such as —
‘We no longer import dogs and puppies‘;
‘We never mislead anyone‘;
‘We offer friendly, reliable and honest expert support‘;
‘Both parents are available for viewing upon visiting our kennels‘
‘All our dogs are very much loved’
‘Here at Little Rascals most of our dogs are Kennel Club registered‘ …
… to name but a few.
The list goes on, and the lies just keep on coming.
